Individual Therapy
"I came to Patricia with relationship struggles and she has helped me work through many issues since including family health, career and navigating the woes of a global pandemic. She's incredibly deliberate in her active listening and asks probing questions without an agenda of solving the problem herself, but instead empowering the client to do so. Appointments don't feel like a chore, but more like a means to an ends of self improvement."
Couple Therapy
"We have been with Patricia for years and our sessions with her have ebbed and flowed along with our life, from pre-marital counseling to helping us navigate a newborn at the height of the pandemic. She is a trusted advisor and a safe space for my husband and me to work on our ever-evolving relationship. Her approach is neutral, empathetic, and kind, but she is not afraid to call us out on where we can do better. She has given us concrete tools and strategies to develop a stronger relationship and we are grateful that she is always there for us when we need her."
Individual Therapy
“I've worked with Dr. Barros in both couples and individual therapy. Thanks to all of her work with me, I am able to enjoy my relationships with my most loved ones more, be less anxious, and stay present in the moment. Dr. Barros has helped me focus on how to be happy with those around me no matter how tough things get.”
